Starting in 2007 just after the market peak, I learned to build my real estate business the old fashioned way: from the ground up. Past and current clients include first timers, out of state buyers, move up sellers, growing families, investors (including 1031 exchanges), & empty nesters. I've lived in the Portland metropolitan area almost my entire life and transact business on both sides of the Willamette River.
1. Collaborate: Work diligently with my clients and the other broker(s) to successfully close the transaction. Network with dedicated, reliable professionals in the mortgage, contractor, and inspector fields who strive to offer my clients a level of care commensurate with my own.
2. Stay Humble: Reflect what is in my clients' best interest in all situations. Listen. Do my best to answer all their questions. Find the way to get the needs of both parties met, and get to yes. Negotiate & when necessary, mediate.
3. Keep Learning: Don't rely exclusively on personal marketing. Know and stay current on the market area, the lessons of recent history, and the transactional nuances of purchasing real estate. Offer explanations, not excuses. Know my clients' needs, and know myself.
Home Buyers and Sellers alike deserve the full gamut of available services from an expert in the field. I don't take shortcuts. I believe real estate agents should advise their clients based on what the market will bear, and my value analysis process is exceptional.
I’m the proud father of three children, the younger of whom are boy+girl twins. For sport and recreation, among other things I enjoy playing soccer, guitar and golf.
